Model and charity fundraiser Nell McAndrew is due to be in Bicester on Friday to mark the opening of a new-style community pharmacy.
The Lloyds Pharmacy in Sheep Street has had a major refurbishment and now has dedicated areas for advice on subjects including skin health and pain management.
The pharmacy is one of four to be selected for a European pilot scheme.
New technologies such as touch screens and a skin analyser have been installed, and pharmacy staff can create personal treatment plans.
Nell McAndrew will open the refurbished store at 1pm. Goody bags with product samples will be given away, and balloons and face painting will be available for children.
The Oxford Gospel Choir will also sing carols outside the store on Saturday between noon and 2pm.
Nell McAndrew, the original model for Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider games, is a keen marathon runner who has supported many charities.
