THE Buckingham and Winslow Darts League returned to league action this week with the Peacock of Towcester extending their lead at the top of Division One after beating bottom side Blackbird 8-1.
Peacock are now on 88 points, 10 points ahead of second-placed Three Cups A, who beat Brackley FC 6-3.
In third are Swan A on 64 points after they won 6-3 away at Two Brewers B, who are fifth while Whale A leapfrogged the Three Cups B to go sixth after beating them 5-4.
In Division Two, Price of Wales continue to lead the way as they now sit top on 77 points thanks to a 7-2 victory against the Two Brewers A, who drop to seventh.
Swan B have 60 points and are in second place having beaten previously second-placed Crown Gawcott 5-4 while the Kinds Head are just a point behind Gawcott following a 6-3 home loss to the Mitre.
The battle of the cricket club’s saw Great Horwood CC A beat Buckingham CC 5-4 to keep Buckingham rooted to the bottom.
Meanwhile, the top two in Division Three are pulling away from the rest. Green Man are top on 85 points after defeating New Inn 6-3 while second-placed Three Cups D beat British Legion Club 7-2.
In the other game played in Division Three, Great Horwood Cricket Club beat Three Cups C 5-4.
Paul Stefanovic (153), Steve Mitchell (123) and Chris Ward (140) are still hold the highest checkouts in each division.
