An unconfirmed number of homes and businesses in Buckingham lost power this evening (Monday) after a fire at a town centre electricity transformer.
Access to some mobile phone networks was also lost as a result of the fire in High Street, Buckingham shortly after 5.40pm.
Two fire appliances and crews from Buckingham attended the scene. The fire was out on arrival and the incident was left with electricity engineers.
