POTTERSPURY halted Thornborough Athletic’s charge up the Premier Division table with a 4-0 away win.
Broughall, Kelly, Ballam and Parish netted for the third-placed visitors, who led 2-0 at half time and sealed the points after the ineterval.
Thornborough slipped to fourth place.
MK Wanderers Reserves took over top spot with a 5-1 win at Silverstone. Hunt was the home side’s scorer.
Former leaders and second-placed Southcott Village lost 3-2 at home to strugglers MK Titans. Basement side Buckingham Town Reserves lost their 12th game this season 3-0 at home to Yardley Gobion.
Deanshanger Athletic went down 4-0 at Great Linford.
In the Interdivisional Trophy second round, Stoke Hammond Wanderers edged Great Horwood away 1-0 to book their place in the next round, while Grendon Rangers hammered Hanslope 7-1 at home. Boxhall, Hankers (2), McKay, Callow, Haddon and Perna netting for the hosts.
Brackley Sports were 4-2 winners at Denbigh Hall Sports & Social in the Interdivisional Trophy first round.
In the Intermediate Division, Syresham trounced JM United 8-2 away, while third-placed Bow Brickhill were 5-1 home winners over Celtic MK.
Leaders Brackley Sports Reserves were awarded the game against MK Churches for their failure to raise a team.
Steeple Claydon lost at fourth-placed City Colts 2-1. In Division One, basement side Westbury gained their first win of the campaign 4-2 at home against Woughton.
Scorers for Westbury were O’Connell and Peel-Yates (2), plus an own goal.
Twyford United went down 2-0 at leaders Stoke Hammond Wanderers Reserves, Giddings netting a brace for the hosts. Third-placed Grendon Rangers Reserves edged Bletchley Bridge 2-1 away.
Mid-table Charlton & District were pipped 3-2 at home by second-placed Bow Brickhill Reserves, Scott and Knight firing home for Charlton.
Syresham Reserves were beaten 2-1 at home by Southcott Village RA Reserves. Stewkley Reserves enjoyed a 6-3 victory at Marsh Gibbon, Salmons, Turner and Ashworth netting for Marsh.
Buckingham University swept to a 4-0 home win over Marsh Gibbon Reserves in Division Two to keep up their bid for promotion. McPhee hit a hat-trick, aided by a goal from Whitecross.
Leaders City Colts Reserves, who are six points ahead, were 3-1 winners at MK Wanderers A. Second-placed Wicken Sports Reserves contiued their good run with a 5-3 home success over Great Horwood Reserves, Collins notching a hat-trick, Wicken, Bowderry and Martin the other scorers.
Real Padbury registered their fifth win of the season 4-2 at home over Silverstone Reserves, Wood hitting a brace, plus two own goals. Steeple Claydon Reserves drew 3-3 with Wolverton Town Reserves. Great Linford Reserves beat Yardley Gobion Reserves 2-0.
In the Northants FA Area Cup third round, Potterspury Reserves progressed further with a 7-4 home win over Corby Quanum Print Vikings, to make it a good day for Potterspury teams.
Chilvers grabbed a four-timer, Lamb and Jones and an own goal made up the hosts’ tally. In the Oving Cup, Stewkley lost 1-0 at Haddenham.
