Buckingham Athletic edged the first leg of the Buckingham Senior Charity Cup semi-final 3-2 against rivals Buckingham Town on Tuesday evening.
The Robins got off to the ideal start when Max Risby converted from the penalty spot after just three minutes, but Simon King scored twice to give Athletic a half-time lead.
On the hour, Akin Iluyemi’s fine finish pulled the teams level, before Athletic secured a narrow lead going into the second leg when Phil Martin headed home.
