BUCKINGHAM: Children and their families are invited to paint plant pots and fill them with bee-friendly plants for Buckingham’s bees on Saturday, May 5.
And after the session, organised by BTCV with funding from Buckingham Town Council, little ones can take their pot home for the bees in their own garden.
Suitable for children aged six and over, the session runs from 10.30am to 1pm at Buckingham Library. All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
The plant species used are specially selected to be attractive to bees, including cornflower, wild foxglove, birdsfoot trefoil, wild primrose and tufted vetch.
