Winslow Community Cinema screening of Wadja, the first feature film ever to be shot in Saudi Arabia. It tells the story of a 10-year-old girl, Wadjda, living in a suburb of Riyadh who sees a beautiful green bicycle for sale. She wants the bicycle desperately but her mother won’t allow it so she takes matters into her own hands. February 7, from 7.30pm, in the Rose Room, Winslow Centre.
