A five-wicket loss to Didcot kept Bicester & North Oxford second from bottom in Cherwell League Division Three.
Batting first, Bicester opener Jamie Carter got the innings off to a good start as he top-scored with 44, while Daniel Murphy hit 24 but they were the only two batsmen to pass 20 as Bicester were bowled out for 172 following useful late runs from Daniel Clark (15) and Ben Clark (12).
Ryan Moore gave Bicester the perfect start to Didcot’s reply as Henry Brisland and Viraj Perera both departed for a duck in the first over, but a century stand between Simon Pritchard (55) and Shaun Burningham (87) took Didcot to victory. Moore finished with 3-32.
